Kybella is not a complicated process — it can be fully explained in a few easy steps:

1. Your face will be thoroughly cleaned to help prevent infection
2. Your healthcare provider will use a marker to pinpoint injection sites
3. A topical numbing agent may be applied to ease discomfort
4. Between 30 and 50 small injections are made beneath the chin
5. Your face is cleaned once more and you are sent home
